Homework for the Week of April 30, 2012
According to Eastern District Homework Policy, Kindergarten students are expected to complete 5 -10 minutes of homework nightly. Typically, homework assignments will include reading and completing activities that relate to topics/curriculum outcomes taught the previous week. I will try to include fun, hands -on activities and/or games when possible. Following up with a little at-home practice will allow you the opportunity to see first hand how your child is progressing. Nonetheless, please feel free to provide additional practice if you think the amount is insufficient or if your child needs more practice.
If your child is sick or absent from school, all written activities will be put aside and given to your child upon their return OR given to another student if requested. Such work should be completed in a timely manner and returned to school..
