Newfoundland Labrador Studies 2205
This is the first year that NL Studies 2205 will be delivered to the schools, province-wide. here at St. Kevin's, this is our third year offering this new and exciting two credit course. There are three textbooks for the course.
The course looks at the province's culture, heritage, identity, as well as historical moments, present realities, and future potential. In studying these componets, the class will consider significance, cause and consequence, comparison, and other ways of historical and critical thinking. In developing the student's sense of place, in newfoundland and labrador, NL Studies is designed to bring the community into the classroom and the classroom out into the community.
NL Studies is both a Canadian Studies and a Fine Arts credit
