Your Digital Portfolio  (HTML Web Creation)      
During this section, I will guide you through the steps to creating a basic website using HTML.  You will write the file in NotePad and view as a webpage in Internet Explorer.  
I'll cover all the basics: page setup, font, alignment, images, links, tables, and the list goes on......  You will create a page titled "AboutMe" as we go.    Details and required page content will follow in class

"Old School" Video Game on the topic of Computer Hardware

Visit www.classtools.net and follow the link on right side titled Arcade style games.    Follow the directions given.   Use the information given in the Bits and Bytes + Computer Hardware slideshows to create your questions / answers.

Once made, test the game yourself.   When ready challenge a classmate.    Show me the final product for grading.     NOTE: you will not be able to save the game on our network.   Copy the questions / answers and save them as a Word doc before the class ends.


Hardware Labelling Assignment
Before we begin working hands-on, you are each asked to label ALL yellow dots in the following 5 photos.   OPEN each photo, then COPY and paste into a new slide on your Powerpoint file from the last few classes.   LABEL each Yellow Dot on each photo.    *** These are pics from a computer system that is approx 15 years old, but the basics are still the same.    Have Fun!
