This is the 18th year that PEG-NL has sponsored a Bridge-Building competition for Grades 7 - 9. This year, for the first time, they are including a senior high competitive division!  The engineers gave an interesting power-point presentation on bridge-building: design and construction - particularly how to apply the principles of engineering on a smale-scale, to the building of a bridge made of popsicle sticks and Lepages's white glue!! How to Build a Model Bridge The highlight of the presentation was when Mr. Goosney brought a bridge to test with the same apparatus they will use for the Competition!!
