Most English Language Arts work will be done in class.
Occasionally students will be expected to finish work at home that
they did not get done in class (worksheets, questions, etc).
We do not consider reading independent novels to be homework.

Students must read three novels independently throughout the course of the year.
Assignments will be given and independently completed
to show understanding of those novels.
If you are not sure if a novel is appropriate, check with me.

The better you write, the better your marks will be in all subjects."
