H1N1 Immunizations - Primary Students
The immunizations for the Primary students went very smoothly and our young students who received their shots were real troopers!  The nurses were very supportive and reassuring to the children.  Thank you to the Health Care team for making the day so easy for our primary students.  If your child was sick and/or unable to come for the first of the two immunizations, then it is our understanding that you may have to attend an outside clinic. However, that may change, with the recent announcement of school immunizations for elementary students. For the latest information, visit http://www.easternhealth.ca or call the Health Line at 1- 888 - 709-2929.

Immunizations - Elementary Students
All students will need to return the H1N1 permission form, with either an acceptance or a rejection of the immunization.   The rejection may be for a variety of reasons, including having already received the injection.  If you did not return a form, you can get one from our website at www.che.k12.nf.ca, or the district website at www. esdnl.ca

Through the media over the last few days, the plan to immunize elementary students will start by Monday, November 16th.  We await further details on the exact date for our school.  As soon as the information is known, we will communicate with parents.
